We are excited to announce some changes to our business.
For 10 years the name Finance kitchen has been synonymous with financing new hospitality openings and major refurbishments.
Earlier this year we launched a new business Finance Kitchen Asset Management Limited to reflect a major change in the way we operate. We have moved away from the traditional finance broker model where lenders pay brokers commission and add these costs to the amount you repay thus increasing the cost of borrowing.
Instead, we will now charge directly for the services we provide which means that the finance facilities that we arrange for you will be not only the best fit but also at the best price. We wanted to become more customer centric.
This new approach guarantees complete transparency. Our model is now more in keeping with other professional services businesses such as accountants, lawyers and architects.
To make life easier for you we charge our fees in three parts, at proposal, acceptance of the offer and completion. This also means that our income is now more aligned to the rhythm of a fit-out project which often has a gestation period of six months or more.
We have always been more than a broker, more a project finance manager as in addition to arranging the facility we will also be handling all legal paperwork and managing the payment of suppliers, removing that burden and enabling you to focus on the rest of the project.
From a practical perspective, not only do we have a new business, but we will be moving on from our dot London domain that has served us well and moving to a dot co.uk as our business now has a national reach.
